Listen to the BHS Choirs’ performance last night at the World Music Concert

These are two of the songs which were performed at the choir concert last night. Freedom Come and Mama Afrika.

Last night, six choirs performed 20 different songs at the PAC for the World Music Concert. The audience heard from the Freshman, Varsity, and Concert Choirs as well as the BHS Singers, Treble Singers, and Varsity Singers.

Some of the songs which were performed last night include: The Stars Above the Hill, What’ll I Do?, Ahrirang, O Mistress Mine, Freedom Come, Mama Afrika, and We Are the World. There were also three songs performed which were each made by Minnesota composer David Dickau.

There were also several soloists for many of the songs. These soloists include: Allesson Stensing, Anna Cammarn, Anna Humphrey, Alex Haas, Hunter Fonkert, Cami Daniels, Jessica Johnson, Minde Pulvermacher, Matt O’Leary, Pickle Hjelmberg, Mallory Nelson, Leif Nelson, Megan Shipley, and Morgan Pfleghaar.

Congratulations to all choirs on their performances.

‘Night Out For Music’ will be next Saturday at 7 p.m. in the PAC. This event will include a concert and dessert.
