The Hoofprint gets a facelift

The upcoming edition of Buffalo High School’s Hoofprint will come out on February 26, with some changes. Hoofprint will now appear on an 11.75 by 12 inch, magazine and square like page.  The whole design of the paper will also change, such as fonts, captions, and coverage. There will be more ‘quick reads,’ to make news quick and easily accessible, and eye catching appeal to attract more readers. Also, recent updates and changes of the hoofprint.net is a large portion of the Hoofprint’s resign.

“Our main goal of the redesign has been with the hoofprint.net. We’re trying to make it easier for students to get news and the internet seemed to be the easiest way to do that,” said Editor and Chief Brad Palmer

The reason for the upcoming changes come down to budgeting, and printing price of the former size. But the accessability and content of the Hoofprint should also change and improve.  The changes should attract more readers and be well-liked.

“We took the resize and cut back as an opportunity to present information better than we normally do, and to solidify our identity,” said Adviser Ryan McCallum.
