BPA Hosts Special Olympics Raffle

Beginning on Monday,  February 7th and ending on Friday, February 11th, Buffalo High School will be hosting a raffle. The grand prize of the raffle is a brand new Dell laptop.

“[The Special Olympics Raffle] is for kids with disabilities.” said Sophomore Erin Mackenthun, one of the ticket sellers.

Tickets for the raffle are one dollar per ticket and you can purchase many as you would like to buy.

“Support Special Olympics and buy a ticket today!” said Sophomore Kasenia Keller, who works at the ticket table during D lunch.

Tickets can be bought at all lunches during the day. Winners will be announced on Friday, February 11th during halftime of the boy’s basketball game. You do not have to be at the game to win the grand prize. All proceeds go directly to the Special Olympics. Even if you don’t win, you can feel better about yourself knowing that your money is going to help the Special Olympics competitors.
