Boys’ fight the crimson for section championship tonight

Game is at 5, at Halenbeck Hall against Maple Grove crimson. The boys’ basketball team is looking forward to chance in the state tournament. The bison are 22-7 this season and the crimson are 17-10. They played earlier in the year and the crimson pulled away winning 73 to 45.

The crimson has a very young team with two sophomores leading scores, Brycen Wojta averaging 15.1 ppg (points per game) and James Morris averaging 12 ppg. They’ve had a rough year and a tough conference but always seem to do well in post season. For the start of the game senior Andy Ortmann, Jerome Begin and Josh High along with junior Dom Gilmer and sophomore Ethan Freer will take it to the crimson in a battle to the final minutes.

The winner of the game will head to the first round of state games. The first game will be held at Williams Arena.
