Final Show for BHS Comedy Sportz Team

On Wednesday, May 4th, the Buffalo CSz Team put on a show for the school. It began at 7 PM and concluded about an hour or so later. The show consisted of improvisational acting as 2 teams of 4
(made up entirely of Buffalo school students) competed against each other in a series of Improv games, such as Forward/Reverse and 4 Rooms. The show was in the PAC. The entire show was free. Donations and bribes were accepted, though none were given.

The players have been practicing since before the start of 2011, and have been participating in the Comedy Sportz High School League for about as long.  The Buffalo players that will be participating were decided by who showed up for practice that day from 2:40 to 4:40. There were a total of 8 players, ranging from freshmen to senior. The audience ended up being just the family and friends of the players, so it was rather small. None the less, the show went on.

The show was a success, even with the small audience.  Everyone had a good time, and the players, this being their last game together, said their goodbyes. Next year there will be a new set of players, and hopefully, with enough practice, next year’s players will be better than this year’s players.
