Bison Boys Hockey will battle with the Brainerd Warriors tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the Buffalo Civic Center. Tonights face off will begin the section tournament for Minnesota State High School League. The Warriorshave a record of 10-15, while the Bison stand with a record of 15-10. Even with a 5 game loosing streak behind them they still have high hopes in the outcome of tonight’s game.

“We need to come out strong and fast, play with high intensity and stay out of the penalty box,” said Senior Ryan Cottrell. “If we do that we will win no problem.”

With a strong senior starting line, the teams experience playing and working together as a team is in high demand.

“We have a lot of seniors this year who have been playing together for a while so we are going to do everything we can to win,” said Senior Cole Meyer. “It should be a good game but I think we can win.”

The Warriors also have had their fair share of loosing streaks. Their last 3 games were upsets against similar teams the Bison have lost to. Teams such as Sartell, Roseau, and Duluth. With close records the game should be close in talent.
