Boys Lacrosse falls short

On Monday May 2 The Buffalo Bison boys lacrosse team headed to Spring lake park to take on orioles. The Bison fell short losing 11-4.

The Bison started the game in a hole with spring lake park scoring within the first three seconds of the game. By the end of the first quarter the Bison were down 4-1, and it didn’t  get any better from there. The orioles added another three goals making the score 7-2 going into half time. Senior Nick Weeks and the Bison thought they found the Answer in the third quarter keeping Spring Lake scorless. It wasn’t until the fourth quarter that the Orioles scored four more, making the final score 11-4.

On the upside of the game, the Bison got one of their top returning starters back from suspension, Senior Hunter Steinberg, who created a lot of scoring opportunities throughout the game.

“We put a lot of effort into the game,” said Weeks. ” Sometimes the ball just doesn’t bounce  your way.”

Buffalo lacrosses next game is Wednesday, May 4 Vs. Monticello at 6:30 under the lights at the home stadium.
