BHS students shop Goodwill

Goodwill is a store that carries everything from hats to shoes (head to toe) for prices that are generally lower than other competing stores.  For this reason, it attracts many High School students.

Goodwill carries name brand items that aren’t as expensive as it would be at the original seller’s store according to Junior Eddie Clifton.

“I bought a Nike zip up sweatshirt at Goodwill for only $5,” says Clifton. “If I were to buy it at the Nike store, it would have been about $50.”

According to Junior Bucky Ogdahl Goodwill is a place to go and buy unique clothing as well as inexpensive clothing.

“I bought a bright green V – neck sweater for $3,” says Ogdahl. “It is so unique because no one else has it and I think it is awesome!”

For this reason, a lot of people go gift shopping at Goodwill. If you don’t have a lot of money to spend for  gifts, Goodwill isn’t a bad place to go according to Junior Tori Tonn.

“I bought my mom a table for our living room at Goodwill,” says Tonn. “It was only $25 for the table.”

Goodwill doesn’t just carry clothes. It also has furniture, electronics and other household items. Goodwill has a large collection of everything.

“I have seen many people walk out of Goodwill with tables, lamps, books, pretty much anything,” says Junior Drake Wohlenhaus.

Goodwill is a place where our BHS students go and acquire unique clothing to create unique expressions of their personality.
