Buffalo Junior Gold hockey ties last game.

On February 22, Buffalo Junior Gold hockey team played their last game against the Delano Tigers for a 4-4 tie. Buffalo Junior Gold hockey was celebrating two things that night, Seniors night and the last game of the season.

Buffalo started out by honoring all seniors and parents throughout the Buffalo Youth Hockey Association for their support and commitement over the years. Each player was given a rose to thank their parents with and a picture of each player. Junior Gold seniors include Max Graham, Ken Moussat, Robert Cooper, Chris Seiberg, Ryan Haasken, Jesse Doyle, Jordan Burns, and Guy Garavaglia. All were recognized as seniors before the game.

Max Graham started off the game by playing the “Star Spangled Banner” on a guitar, while adding his own style to the National Anthem. Robert Cooper played goaltender for Buffalo, taking 26  shots on goal with four goals allowed. Delano’s goaltender allowed four goals with 17 shots on goal.

“You know, I love this team and everything about it, said Senior Max Graham. I’m going to miss playing with these guys, I hope all of them come back to play next year. Altogether, this game meant a lot for me because it was my last hockey game of my senior year. I’ll never forget it.”
