Procrastination

Procrastinating is one of the easiest things in the world to do, but it can make things so much more stressful in the end. Everything you’ve put to the side is now officially due, and a mass majority of teenagers these days don’t just go to school. They go to school, play sports, and have after school jobs.

“Procrastination is so easy, I just wrote an essay that got assigned like a month ago,” said Junior Emily Torgerson.

Procrastination is most commonly found among teenagers, but can be a lifelong habit.

“I procrastinate more often then I probably should. It brings in a whole new factor, and actually causes me to do more work, deadlines happen, and other priorities have to come first and it just makes keeping on top of things not so easy,” said Deb (Optum Health Director.)

Meeting deadlines might not be easy, but procrastination won’t make it any easier.

“Putting things off sounds like the easier route, but really in the end I only become more stressed out,” said Sophomore Cassie Whited

Do it now. Sometimes ‘later’ becomes ‘never.’
