The Best of BHS’s Comedy Sportz Team Compete Against the Professionals

On Thursday, April 21st, Seniors Marrissa Moe and Jacob Bastin will be playing on the All-Star Team at the Comedy Sportz theater in Calhoon Square in Minneapolis against the professional players at Comedy Sportz.

Over the past few months, Moe and Jacob have been practicing improvisational acting (Improv) with the other members of the BHS CSz Team under the supervision of Mrs. Bertsch and Professional CSz player and referee Michael Bruckmuller every Tuesday from 2:40 to 4:40. This time was spent learning new Improv games and honing their acting skills.

These two players were selected in two ways. Jacob was voted part of the All-Star Team by the rest of the team, and Moe was selected by Michael.

Each will be part of a team consisting of four players, one from each high school currently participating. These schools are Edina, Eden Prarie, Hopkins, and Buffalo. These teams will be playing against the professional players that perform at Comedy Sportz, who happen to be the coaches for the high school teams.

The show starts at 8 PM and goes for about 1 1/2 hours. Come support your best players as they compete to beat the best and take home victory for Buffalo!
