There are not many opportunities to advertise within a school. However, Buffalo High School’s student-run newspaper, The Hoofprint, would like to offer you a chance to get your business noticed at BHS.
We are currently working on expanding The Hoofprint to its full potential with longer and more frequent issues, and more color. By placing an ad in The Hoofprint, you can help us make this happen.
Our total circulation is 1800. By choosing to advertise with us, your ad will be seen by over 1700 students as well as staff.
Buffalo High School fully supports this paper, and it has been well received by the community as well. Awards we have received in the past include:
- All-State Silver for Journalism Educators of Minnesota (top 10 in the State)
- Recognized as Second Class by the National Scholastic Press Association
More judging will take place in the future where we are hoping to receive more awards for our significantly improved, ever-growing paper.
Issues are typically distributed once every month, through the months of October and May. This makes for a total of eight issues each year.

Some advertisers prefer to only advertise around special occasions such as Valentine’s Day or Prom. Although your ad might not be placed in The Hoofprint until later in the year, it is best for all advertisers to contact us now. The sooner we get in touch and make arrangements, the more time we will have to work with each other throughout the year.
