Boys lacrosse has a tough week

The Buffalo Bison Boys lacrosse team hosted Holy Family Tuesday, May 17  losing a close game 7-6.

Buffalo and Holy Family were both creating offense and playing strong defense making the score after the first quarter tied up at one a piece. It was in the second where Holy Family took a lead and never looked back. Holy Family would score two goals where the Bison could only put one in the back of the net. Buffalo would be down 3-2 going into half time. Both teams were creating oppotunites and scoring goals, It went back and fourth the whole game. It was 5-4 after the third. The Bison came out strong in the Fourth putting a late drive together trying to tie the game at seven but fell a little short losing 7-6.

The Bison went to Apple Valley Wednesday, May 18 to face the Apple Valley Eagles. It was a tough road trip for the Bison with Senior Hunter Stenberg scoring the only goal and the Bison losing 17-1

The Boys played St Cloud Tech Thursday, May 19 Losing 10-6.

“Its hard to win a game or get any momentum when you spend each game a man down for most  the game.” Said Senior Hunter Stenberg.

Buffalo’s next game is Tuesday, May 25 Vs Chaska in the section quarter Finals.
