BHS Student Council takes over EMASC Convention

Last Friday, February 25, Buffalo High School’s student council went to their Spring Eastern Minnesota Association of Student Councils convention, also known as EMASC. Where Junior Brianna Maas took home the title of EMASC Executive Council President.

Once in Chisago, all attending student council members participated in a personality analysis activity where they were given a test to split them into four groups based on personality types. Blues were the more sensitive students, Orange being the idea creators, gold, the hard workers and green, the intelligent workers.

Every year the new executive EMASC council is elected by the attending student council members at the Spring convention. Their reign will last one full year. Next year’s EMASC convention will be held right here at Buffalo High School.
