Visiting conference-rival Monticello beat the varsity wrestling team 64-3.

“The score really doesn’t show how rough we wrestled, ” said Senor Tim Ruter.

A bright spot in the meet was  Ruter adding another win under his belt in a 3-2 win over the Magic’s Logan Draack. Ruter remains undefeated with 25 straight wins.

“I’m feeling the pressure to win.” said Rutter, “When I’m expected to win, the pressure is high. If I lose, I guess I would lose all the pressure but I still want to do well.”

Rutter wasn’t the only bright spot. Junior Tanner Robasse had a5-4 win. Also Freshman Mike Simon pulled off 7-3 win.
