At the Tuesday evening “Senior Night,” Boys Varsity Hockey game the Bison suffered a tough 2-3 loss to Princeton at the civic center.
The night started with a spotlight feature of the seven varsity Seniors: Christian Illies, Nickolas Jones, Cody Elletson, Anthony Thein, Reid Trousdale, Hunter Stenberg, and Nicholas Weeks. The Seniors were greeted by parents, and cheered on as their personal achievements were announced.
Following the high-energy introduction Senior Captain Nick Jones scored the first goal for the Bison at ten minutes in, tying the score 1-1.
Despite scoring a second goal during the second period, the Bison came up short when Princeton scored their third goal in the third period, taking the lead and winning the game.
The next home game for the Bison is tomorrow night (Thursday, February 10) against Hopkins.
