Buffalo Bison Girls’ Gymnastics team competed against the St. Micheal Knights winning with overall score 12. With Sophomore Paige Habisch competing Varsity all- around and Junior Megan Durst competing combination all around. Sophomore Nadja Vragovic is out with an injury due to a strained hip flexer at the Gustavus Invitational last Saturday during her floor routine with the team had taken 4th in overall.
“Every year when we go to Gustavus somebody always ends up getting hurt. I guess in a way you can call it bad luck, we made it to the third rotation and Vragovic hurt her hip flexer right before vault,” said Durst.
The Bisons’ next meet is the Invitational on January 23rd at 1:00pm. Consisting of eight different teams, competing against eachother.
The Bison have won one meet out of their first three. They still have a few more meets coming up. Bison host the Junior Varsity Invitational on January 23. Till then its practice after practice to keep up the competition.
“The Bison Invite is always a fun meet and I think out team will do well well because everyone is owrking hard atpractice to fix their routines and adding more new skills,” said Junior Alicia Malawicki.
