Swimmers face challenge against Spuds

On Friday, February 13, the Moorhead Spuds Swim and Dive team will make the journey down to Buffalo. They will be competing in a dual meet against our own Bison swim and dive.

The Spuds have a very strong team and it will be a challenging meet for the boys. In past years, the Bison have been defeated by theSpuds, but with their best season ever and the potential cut of their own team, the boys might find inner strength and pull off some magic.

This is the last Dual Swim and Dive meet of the Season and the boys are excited to go out with a bang. With Section Championships less than three weeks away this meet will be a great way to get fired up. It will also be a preview of the Spuds and what their line up will look like at Sections.

“Moorhead is really good, one of the best in the State, but we are sure going to give it are all,” said Senior Captain Nathan Engefer.

It will surely be an exciting meet. The action starts at 6:00 P.M. at the BCMS pool. You won’t want to miss it.
